My my time flies! We ended up at the zoo the day that Rhees turned 7 months old. My friend Amy came for a visit from CT and we had planned on going to sea world. However, as soon as arrived I discovered our passes were expired! OOOPS! Epic fail. But we just drove on down to Balboa Park and ended up at the zoo. And it was a gorgeous day...Terje became rather attached to Amy and was so happy to hear that she'd be coming over to our house two days later for a party.
Anyway, some pictures from our day at the zoo, and the others I took this morning. Rhees doing his thing on his tummy. He tolerates it if I time it right, and he is even rolling off of his tummy when he wants to now...he can't get back onto his tummy entirely on his own, but he's getting there. He is of course sitting up pretty solid now, but there is the occasional tip. He is very good at reaching and grabbing what he wants, so dining with him on my lap is a greater challenge now.
His favorite thing to do is blow raspberries...does it all day long, and has perfected it. He has the vowels sounds too. He does say "mama" or "mehmeh" but only when he is complaining or unhappy (boo). Rhees is also a big giggler...loves to laugh, especially at Terje, but he'll squeal and laugh when he's playing all by himself too. We think he is going to be a little clown...but time will tell.
We love this little guy.
