this is what happens when a photographer takes pictures of her own family...during our christmas card session...sigh...better luck next time I guess.
Rhees is now a happy, healthy, bouncing, gurgling, raspberry blowing, toe sucking 6 month old! He is nearly sitting up on his own, maybe by the end of the month? He also just got his first two teeth! I think the next two have already began to bug him...boo. I like toothless babies...He is also eating solids with gusto! So far mostly orange veggies, and a little broccoli mixed in, and a morning bowl of baby oatmeal...soon to be adding in some pureed fruits, and more green veggies.More on Terje soon, just know the kid is is READING! Mostly short words with the short vowel sounds, but has learned others in the context of the books he's been reading. We are now having daily reading lessons because is just so ready to go. I don't see the point in waiting for school, when he is clearly ready. Besides, I think he likes the one on one time with me, and he does enjoy reading...not to mention the "treats" that follow the lesson. I'm sure once our lessons are established we can ease back on the treats, because just learning to read is motivating enough!

Looks like Baby Rhees is sitting up? How exciting. I can't believe he is already getting so big. Wow! Terje is reading, how exciting. I sound like a broken record! But that is really cool, and must be fun for you too. These kids are going to be driving before we know it.
